Mitt Work – Clearing Hands for Elbows

In this video we’re taking a look at a few mitt drills you can add in with students to begin to learn the concept of clearing hands out of your way and sliding elbows into small and temporary openings. To really bring this concept home, it’s best to drill with a high gear helmet (see previous videos on this) but this is a great way to build the sensitivity for it and introduce the concepts with little stress. Plus it can make for some really fun mitt drills when you start adding other aspects in!
